Stefan is from the vicinity of Bonn, Germany. In 2012 his wife started a job in Tanzania; after "commuting" for 2 years, he now lives full -time in Tanzania. They have a daughter that was born in July 2014.
He started roleplaying in 1984 and went for his first larp (Legendsy) in 1994. It was a two week vacation in Southern France and probably the worst larp he would ever attend. Since then he played in uncountable larps and started organizing and writing rules systems for larps in 1995.
