KultUr - ...der Alte

KultUr - Was besser verborgen bliebe... was was the first nordic-larp inspired larp in Germany. It was inspired by criminal-mystery series like Mrs. Marple or Sherlock Holmes and set in a H.P. Lovecraft inspired world in the 1920s in Germany.

Setting and Themes

An industrialist from Mainz, invites a group of illustrious group of guests for an excavation at his country house in rural Hunsrück in wetsrern Germany. A weekend to see and be seen in the post-war 1920s with a fatal and unexpected twist in the realms of cultists, demons and horror.

Summary

EDIT

Runs

Originally planed as a one shot, the larp was held three times due publich demand. Setting, location and basic plot weren't changed by the organisers, the personal for NPCs and organisers only had minor changes. The outcome for the differed a lot, as the participants interpreted the characters, their tasks and goals diffrently. Also escalation in the plot sturcture was interpreted diffrently. This was not only tolerated but intended by the designers.
