revert documentation to match revert of template. It seems to me far more sensible to link to an article describing the meaning than an article about a calendar

<!-- PLEASE ADD CATEGORIES AND INTERWIKIS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE -->

=== Usage ===
This template is used for displaying a date in both Old Style and New Style, including a discreet link to the article [[Old Style and New Style dates]], in cases where the year is the same in both Styles.

<nowiki>{{OldStyleDate|NS day and month|year|OS day and month}}</nowiki>

If it helps you remember the order of the parameters, you may optionally choose to think of it like this:

<nowiki>{{OldStyleDate|NS day and month|NS year|OS day and month|OS year}}</nowiki>

Note that in this usage the fourth parameter will be ''ignored'' when the template is rendered.

=== Examples ===
* Usage: <code><nowiki>{{OldStyleDate|2 February|1905|20 January}}</nowiki></code>
** Result: {{OldStyleDate|2 February|1905|20 January}}

* Usage: <code><nowiki>{{OldStyleDate|February 2|1905|January 20}}</nowiki></code>
** Result: {{OldStyleDate|February 2|1905|January 20}}

=== See also ===
* {{Tl|OldStyleDateDY}} – for cases where the year is different in the Old Style and the New Style
** Example: {{OldStyleDateDY|17 January|1706|6 January 1705}}

* {{Tl|OldStyleDateNY}} – for cases that require only the day and month, not the year
** Example: {{OldStyleDateNY|13 October|2 October}}
