A term to describe a specific type of larp that is characterized by high production values, spectacular locations, a high international reach (and often paired with some mainstream media attention), not seldomly in already established non-larp fandoms. Often associated with high ticket costs and getting costumes (full or in part) provided by the organizer. The term was first used to describe the larps The Monitor Celestra and College of Wizardry.
