Iva Vávrová, a Czech larp translator, organizer, and designer. She has been larping in the Czech Republic since 2009. As a professional translator, she is passionate about intercultural communication in larping and uses her skills to help make Czech larp international. She coordinated the translation project of Hell on Wheels larp (http://howlarp.cz/about/) in 2015, and translated, internationalized, and helped organize the international runs of De la Bête, as well as Legion: Siberian Story (http://legion.rolling.cz/), together with the Czech larping association Rolling. In her design work, she is interested in experimentation with new forms and non-verbal expression. Her first project as a designer was an experimental noir larp, Valley of Shadows. She is one of the founders of a Czech gender separatist Facebook group aimed to combat harassment in the larping community.
