Immersion

• Immersion" is a frequently-used word with several different meanings, some of them contradictory.

In general, it refers to a state of mind where a player does not need to actively suspension_of_disbelief suspend disbelief in the fictional universe, and where role-playing flows naturally and easily as if you really were the character.
