A character in a larp is one of three things:

  1. A fictitious person that exists in a game world. A role in a drama or a playable entity.
  2. A written or verbally given text conveying the information concerning such an entity or person.
  3. A particular incarnation of such an entity as performed by a player in a particular run of a game.
