Heebøll started larping in 1993. His first venture into organising was in 1998, when he worked on the scenario “Den Pelosianske Strid". This was the first of eight scenarios created for the Mid-sealandic roleplaying organisation DEF42 (Dansk Eventyrspil Forening), all of which Heebøll were involved with. While finishing high school, he worked as a teacher at the Danish Ungdomsskole, which is a youth club. Here he taught larping to younger children, and also organised several children's larps.

Heebøll was one of the main organisers of a Danish series of larps called “Legendernes Tid” (Time of Legends). He was co-organiser on number five and six. However, his most memorable contribution to these scenarios was the building of the Silbertin Farm, which was a full-scale 16 square meters sturdy, wooden building which could be erected anywhere in one day. The Silbertin Farm served as a setting for several Danish fantasy larps until it founds its final location at Østerskov Efterskole, where it is still in use as per January 2019.

In 2002, Heebøll organised the then groundbreaking scenario Yorktown, which he re-ran in 2003. Since then he began taking a special interest in narratively driven larps. This became very evident with the Agerbørn scenarios (2007 and 2009).

Along with Danish larp-wright Peter Schønnemann Andreasen, he conceptualised and afterwards, along with others, co-organised the experimental Danish larp Delirium.

In 2012, Heebøll started organising the Blackbox CPH Festivals in Copenhagen. In 2013, he was awarded Fastaval's honorary Otto for lifetime achievements within the roleplaying community.
