Template:PNG version available/doc

This maintenance template is part of the Wikipedia project, not the encyclopedia proper. The tag automatically places images in Category:Images made obsolete by a PNG version.

Usage

{{PNG version available|Filename.png}}

Example

{{PNG version available|Example.png}} creates:

A PNG version of this image is also available, and should be used in place of this image whenever possible.
If this is a fair-use image, please ensure the image has been replaced by the PNG version, and mark it for deletion by adding

{{subst:orfur|File:Example.png}}

to this page.
