Tap-out is a safety technique, akin to the brems safeword, where a player can signal that they wish to leave or reduce the intensity of the current scene by tapping, twice.
A tap-out can be communicated by tapping another players body, or by tapping twice on a surface loud enough to make sound.
The technique was introduced at the 2015 production of InsideHamlet
