Västlägret is a Swedish annual children and youth camp. Västlägret was created by the non profit organization [http://vastspel.com Västspel]. It was started in 2013 by [[Marie Louise Sjögren]] and a group of parents with daughters who needed a safe place to explore hobby gaming. On Västlägret the kids will try out tabeltop games as well as an all day larp.

[[Karin Edman]] had a vivid dream in 2015 that she described to the Facebook group [[Larp Women Unite]]. Members of the group encouraged her to make the dreamed larp into a real larp and in November 2016 that happened.
