Grenselandet is a festival for short games held in Oslo, Norway organized by Laivfabrikken Oslo and Fantasiforbundet. The festival features already playtested larps from different countries with a duration up to four hours, most of them played in a Black Box or similar venue. In general, the author(s) of the larps are invited to run them.

Grenselandet 2010
The first Grenselandet festival was organized on 19th and 20th of november 2010 at Chateau Neuf, Oslo. Organizers was Håken Lid, Martin Eckhoff Andresen, Martin Nielsen, Katrine Øverlie Svela, Even Tømte and several other helpers. Around 50 participants took part. The festival also hosted the finals of The Larpwriter Challenge, where three finalist games were played anonymously and the winner was chosen by a jury.

Grenselandet 2011
The second Grenselandet festival took place the 28th and 29th of november, also this time at Chateau Neuf. Around 70 participants took part. This festival was host of the finalist games of the Belarussian Larpwriter Challenge, played anonymously.

Grenselandet 2012
Held the 23rd and 24th of november, the 2012 festival was the first to attract a large international audience. Around 110 - 120 participants took part, among them more than 50 from abroad.
