This signature is believed to be ineligible for copyright and therefore in the public domain because it falls below the required level of originality for copyright protection both in the United States and in the source country (if different). In this case, the source country (e.g. the country of nationality of the signatory) is believed to be (country to be given as parameter).

Parameter
The template takes one mandatory parameter, which is the name of the source country (the country of first publication, if known, or as a fallback the individual's country of nationality) so that a judgement can be made as the minimum level of originality required under local law. If the signature can be copyrighted in the source country, the image should be tagged with {{Do not move to Commons}}.
