This work is in the public domain in Egypt as per Intellectual Property Law 82 of 2002 because it meets one of the following conditions:

It is a photographic or cinematographic work that lacks the characteristics of a creative work (i.e., it simply reproduces reality mechanically) that was first published more than 15 years ago (i.e., as of 2024, before 2009).
It is a work of applied art, and was published or made available to the public for the first time (whichever date comes first) more than 25 years ago (i.e., as of 2024, before 1999). (Art. 164)
It is an official document (such as a law, regulation, court decision, etc…), regardless of its source or target language. (Art. 141)
It is considered part of national folklore. (Art. 142)
It is a posthumous or anonymous work that was published or made available to the public for the first time (whichever date comes first) more than 50 years ago (i.e., as of 2024, before 1974). (Art. 162–163)
It is another type of work, whose author died more than 50 years ago (i.e., as of 2024, before 1974). (Art. 160)

The 15-year term of copyright for photographic and cinematographic non-creative works is not mentioned in the text of the law per se, but is referred to in official guidelines which can be found online (in Arabic) on the World Intellectual Property Organization website.

This file is NOT necessarily in the public domain in the United States because a non-simple image can only be in the public domain in the U.S.:

if it entered the public domain in Egypt prior to 1996, or
when, after that date, its copyright term expires in accordance with U.S. law.

Information about the creation date and creator should be provided.

If the image is not in the public domain in the United States, in addition to the license tag for its status in Egypt an appropriate fair use license and rationale should be provided, or the image should be proposed for deletion.

If the media is in the public domain in both Egypt and the United States, it may be transferred to the Wikimedia Commons.

Note: If this image is in the public domain in the U.S., modify the end of the copyright tag from }} to |commons}}.
This will replace the preceding U.S. copyright notification with a nomination for this image to be moved to the Wikimedia Commons.

This image may not have the proper copyright or licensing information, or there is a conflict of license.
An experienced editor should contact the uploader and add the proper tag, or discuss the issue on the talk page.
If the image has no source, add {{subst:Di-no source}}. If the image has no licensing information, add {{subst:Di-no license}}. If the copyright tag may need discussion, please list at Wikipedia:Files for discussion.
