This template can be used to create an external link to a United States National Geodetic Survey (NGS} datasheet. It is intended for inline external links. For citations and other external links see {{Cite ngs}}.

Usage

A search engine can be found here. It requires the coordinates of the benchmark.

The syntax is:

{{NGS|<id>|<title>}}

where:

• <id> is the value following ?PidBox= in the URL
• <title> is an optional link title.

Example

• {{NGS|GT1811}} → NGS
• {{NGS|GT1811|Whitney}} → Whitney
