The {{Cite US Gazetteer}} template generates a citation for one of the United States Census Bureau's US Gazetteer files.

Usage examples

Parameters

1st parameter (vintage)

The 1st parameter specifies the vintage of the data file. Alternatively, the vintage can be specified using |vintage=.

Currently the only supported values for this parameter are:

|vintage=2010 — which specifies the 2010 Census data
|vintage=2014 — which specifies the 2014 American Community Survey data

2nd parameter (type)

The 2nd parameter specifies the types of geographical units included in the data file. Alternatively, the types can be specified using type=.

Currently the only supported value for this parameter is:

|type=places — which specifies incorporated and census designated places.

3rd parameter (state)

The 3rd parameter specifies which U.S. state. Alternatively, the state can be specified using state=.
