The Week of Stories is a period of time, usually 7 days, following the end of a larp. During the Week of Stories, there is a moratorium on public analysis, critique or criticism of the larp - players are instead encouraged to narrate and reflect on what actually happened at the larp.

The purpose is threefold:

  1. To give space for nonjudgemental reflection on what players have experienced, a part of Aftercare
  2. To give some breathing-space for organizers, who are often too exhausted to deal with criticism in the immediate aftermath of a larp.
  3. To focus on sharing and documenting what actually took place at the larp, for later analysis and nostalgia.

Organizers may ask their players to respect a Week of Stories, or players may initiate one at their own initiative.

The concept was introduced at the 2014 larp KoiKoi, and was named "The Week of Stories" at Morgenrøde the same year.
