Joakim was a game run in Sweden in 2011. Its premise was to stage a class reunion for former students at Scenskolan, an exclusive Swedish acting school, during an annually recurring dinner. The main themes of the game was to explore social structures and peer pressure. Characters were set up with varying degrees of career success. The character lending his name to the game, Joakim, was not played by any of the participants. At school, Joakim had been at the bottom of the pecking order, and during the game it was revealed that in anticipation of this year's reunion he had committed suicide, due to an incident last year which the participants were free to define themselves, through improvisation during the game.
