Templates which generate an [[hCalendar]] [[microformat]] (or a component of an hCalendar).
hCalendar is for marking up events – so that they can be added directly to calendar or diary programmes or websites (including as recurring events, so that the anniversaries of historic events may be celebrated); or charted in [[timeline]]s. See [[WP:UF|the microformats project]] for background.
