This template returns the two-digit year (03–13) corresponding to the United States Reports volume number (540–571). Used in creating external link to slip opinions on SCOTUS site with {{SCOTUSLinks}} (at least). It is accurate as of 4 March 2014[update] (R-25, No. 12-5, 571 U.S. ___ (2013), Lawson v. FMR LLC, 03/04/14).
