The concept of the larp factories is to make sure there is at least one high quality, low threshold larp each month. It started with Laivfabrikken Oslo in June 2009, but has so far spread to Trondheim, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Umeå, Turku, Helsinki, Minsk and Toulouse. Not all the larp factories are running as much as one larp a month, and there are local variations to the concept.
